Menorca, the kids friendly island (II)

Menorca, the kids friendly island (II)

As we have already told on previous occasions, Menorca is an ideal place to spend a family holiday and many companies offer activities designed for parents and children to share experiences and memorable moments.

This is the case of Katayak, a company that offers different proposals for active tourism, including a half-day tour of the bay of Fornells, suitable for children from three years old, always accompanied by an adult.

Another interesting offering is that of the company Menorca a Cavall, which organises several horse riding routes based on the riding skills of participants and whether there are children in the group. In fact, children from 2 or 3 years of age can ride with an adult on the same horse with a double saddle and, from 6 years of age, can ride alone, although the guide will hold them with a rope if necessary.

Bigfoot Menorca offers cycling tours adapted to the family public, such as the one in the Ciutadella area. It is a quiet and pleasant walk, ideal for those who want to know the urban beaches around the city such as Calan Brut, Calan Blanes, Sa Farola, Platja Gran and Sa Caleta. Most of the route runs along the bike lane and along the coastline.

Finally, Binissués will allow the children to learn how the peasants of Menorca lived a hundred years ago thanks to its countryside ancient tasks show. They will also be invited to sow wheat, milk, bake bread in the wood-fired oven or feed the animals.
