The Menorca Activa Association was founded in June 1998, at the initiative of a group of business owners on the island, who noticed that a new sector was emerging in the Menorcan economy, active tourism. Since it began, it has been a member of the Federation for Small and Medium-sized Businesses in Menorca, PIME Menorca.

Menorca Activa is a group of companies dedicated to promoting quality active tourism that brings together the largest offering of active tourism and nature in Menorca, with profession companies that offer horse riding routes, hiking, bicycle tourism, archaeological trips, demonstrations of countryside work, boat hire, scuba diving, kayaking, sailing, as well as new disciplines such as snorkelling, flyboard, stand-up paddle surf, and many more. And to top it off there is accommodation in holiday farmhouses, rural hotels and small hotels and guesthouses inland.

Menorca Activa offers its partners a joint platform to advertise and display information, to show what is on offer in terms of Active Tourism and Nature on the island, and it also acts as a spokesperson with the public authorities, to defend the interests of the sector.

All of the companies that are part of the association are legally established businesses, and so through membership of PIME Menorca (Foundation for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses) they are provided withimportant consultancy and administration services. To stay up to date.
